Mr Flannigan from American Grit
American Grit is a Suzerain realm (external link), set in the Great Depression of the 1930s... but with supernatural elements! It's also a setting book for Suzerain 2.savage, allowing Savage Worlds (external link) players to explore the life of an SPA agent, working with the government to keep America safe while the average family has other things to worry about, like finding a job and putting food on the table.

Written by Stuart Gorman, the book's plot point campaign covers the years 1934 to 1936, taking characters from the start of Heroic rank to the point where they hit Demigod rank.

1934

The iron rails of a bankrupt continent...
...pulse with adventure and fortune!

Welcome to America, 1934, a nation of dust and determination. Industry and legend clash in a time of folk heroes, hobo mages, four-color G-men, dazzling carnivals, and secret societies.

1935

Wealth and revelation await you in the Everglades...
...but what good is gold to a mad man?

Welcome to Florida, 1935, a land of decay and legend. The unimaginable breaks into reality in a time of reanimation, exotic shape shifters, bizarre religions, inescapable conspiracy, and baffling scientific wonders.

1936

Who can save the soul of America...
...from a universe of greed and corruption?

Welcome to Washington DC, 1936, a city of conspiracy and alien influence. Secret wars rage across an unsuspecting urban landscape, as rock solid vigilantes, soul-imbued robots, brazen mobsters, and skin-stealing Martians battle for the spirit of the nation.
